Making appointments with Dr Ross Perry
It is always necessary to make an appointment in advance if you need a consultation with Dr Ross Perry. Dr Perry works irregular hours, often alone and also often travels locally, interstate and internationally, for example teaching and conducting seminars and attending various meetings. He keeps a full schedule although he will always attempt to find a way to help you and your pet(s) if at all possible.
Until further notice Dr Perry is not providing consultations requiring physical examination of your bird(s) unless as a home visit. Occasionally in unsual circumstances, consultations might be conducted at Tweed Heads or Brisbane or Sydney veterinary clinics.
"Remote discussions" are those in which the bird or pet cannot be physically examined by Dr Ross Perry and advice is given on the basis of history and one to one discussion, photographs, videos and perhaps real-life videos via skype, iChat or similar facilities.
"The law prevents me from providing advice specific for individual animals and flocks including your bird(s) that I have not examined especially when they are not in countries, states or municipalities where I am not registered as a veterinary surgeon. Therefore I cannot advise you specifically about your personal bird(s) and flock. What I can say is that if at all possible your animal(whatever) should be examined by a competent registered veterinary surgeon as soon as possible. I have written extensively about various aspect of the examination process, some of the diagnostic processes, veterinary procedures and treatment options that I might consider in various media including my book "Doctor Ross Perry's Caring for Birds with Love and Gratitude" that I might embrace if a bird that appears to be like yours was presented to me for physical examination and help. If a bird that appears to be like yours was found to have such and such a disease then some of the treatments or procedures I might be likely to suggest (depending on individual circumstances) include ............. ?
Dr Ross Perry is writing a series of books on aspects of his discoveries about his newly discovered system of tuning in to animals and helping them remotely.

Remote discussions with Dr Ross Perry cost $50 for up to 15 minutes of his time and can be paid for in advance by clicking here. Some remote consultations require 30-45 minutes of Dr Ross Perry's time.
Note that Dr Ross Perry has many years of experience working in regular mixed small animal veterinary hospitals, vaccinating, desexing, radiographing, and doing a wide variety of surgeries. In 2006 he closed his well appointed large veterinary practice in Homebush Sydney and largely stopped doing routine consultations with dogs and cats UNLESS their owners specifically wanted a holistic health/integrated medicine approach to preventing and managing disease. He gave much equipment and veterinary drugs to vets in Bali via www.fnpf.org and other equipment and supplies to Southern Cross Wildlife Hospital south of Sydney. He also stopped doing routine vaccinations and desexing etc.
